WebJun 9, 2024 · Location: SE 12th and Division St. This is the oldest mural still standing in Portland. It was painted in 1982 by a group of artists that called themselves Gorilla Wallflare. The painting is of a giant banana (possibly a play on the group’s name). It wasn’t a commissioned piece, but the owner loved it and kept it up.
